🌍 How We Work

Eye Level Project is an independent initiative for development cooperation and nonprofit engagement. The association is based in Munich, Germany, but operates internationally – including in Brazil and the United States. For further information, please refer to our statutes.

🎯 Association Purposes

The purpose of the association is to promote international sentiment and mutual understanding, art and culture, as well as the pursuit of charitable aims. Immigrants worldwide should feel valued and have equal opportunities to actively shape their future. To achieve this:

  • We enable community events between locals and newcomers to ease the initial challenges of integration.

  • We offer local, goal-oriented coaching and counseling.

  • We create dialogue at eye level through interviews with immigrants, locals, and experts.

  • We advocate for the value of immigrant perspectives through artistic projects and storytelling platforms.

💶 Funding

The association is funded through:

  • Donations

  • Public funds

  • Asset management

  • Endowments and legacies

Who We Are

🌐 Promotion of International Understanding

The association promotes contact between people of different linguistic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, supports their integration, and reduces xenophobia and prejudice. This is achieved through continuous participation in socially beneficial activities such as dialogue, coaching, mentoring, art/creativity, and education. We provide staff, equipment, spaces, and integration-focused measures. We also work in cooperation with other organizations in the field of integration and ensure equal opportunities for women, men, and people of all gender identities.

🎨 Promotion of Art and Culture

Art and creativity are key to building bridges between cultures. We support artistic initiatives that encourage participation, self-expression, and intercultural collaboration. This includes the provision of space, tools, platforms, and networks for artists with and without migration experience.

❤️ Pursuit of Charitable Purposes

Newcomers often need hands-on support for everyday life in a new country. Whether it's learning how to shop at the supermarket, use public transport, or fill out an immigration form, practical help is always appreciated. We encourage locals to offer friendly assistance in daily routines, helping create a welcoming and inclusive society.

“We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.”

– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
